Stag/hen checklist: the complete D-120 timeline
The exact timeline we use for every event, from D-120 to the big day. Follow it and nothing can go wrong.
D-120: lay the foundations
Create the WhatsApp group (without the bride/groom-to-be!), poll availability with a voting tool, lock the date and announce a budget range. Our golden rule: the date is locked when 80% of the group has confirmed, not before.
D-90: book the big items
Flights and accommodation first, that's where prices climb fastest. Then book Saturday's headline activity. At this point, collect the first instalment of the pot (50%).

D-30: finalise the programme
Book restaurants (tables of 10+ go fast), the second activity, and prepare the surprises: costumes, dares, collaborative playlist. Check the cancellation terms of every booking.
D-7 and the big day: execution
Send the final programme to the group (keeping surprises from the guest of honour), confirm every booking, appoint a treasurer and an official photographer. On the day: your only job is to follow the plan, everything else is already done.

A successful stag or hen party comes down to one rule: a single conductor (the best man, maid of honour or organiser), backed by 2-3 people each owning one area (accommodation, activities, surprises). Beyond that, decisions stall. Centralise everything on one shared document and one payment tool to avoid duplicates and gaps.
